The Coordinator, Construction will help deploy our state‑of‑the‑art fiber network, coordinating with contractors, customers, property managers and various other parties on construction projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee, track, and report on the progress and quality of work being performed by our construction contractors
  • Proactively engage with residents to address concerns during construction
  • Report on project status in the field and proactively work to manage and elevate issues as needed
  • Coordinate with clients and property managers to survey and manage construction for business installations
  • Survey and manage construction for Multi‑unit dwellings (MDUs)
  • Conduct site surveys for network changes and business customers
  • Coordinate/manage locate companies, DOT and power companies as needed to achieve objectives
  • Manage relocation projects
  • Attend contractor meetings and calls as necessary
  • Implement new processes and procedures as set forth by the construction department
  • Coordinate and communicate schedules with internal teams (e.g. Sales and Service Delivery)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization with a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize and manage multiple requests at once and consistently meet deadlines
  • Organized, detailed, and reliable approach to work
  • Proactive and resourceful with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Positive and can‑do attitude with a sustained high level of enthusiasm
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills
Basic Qualifications & Competencies
  • 10+ years in cable or other telecommunications underground fiber construction
  • Strong knowledge of OSP design and construction methods
  • Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi‑site construction projects
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office programs
  • Ability to learn and navigate various internal systems with limited training
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
