Concrete Superintendent - Heavy Civil and Marine Construction

This opportunity will be based out of Savannah, GA.
ResponsibilitiesManage work sequencing and logistics in constrained marine and waterfront environments. Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules. Monitor daily production rates and crew performance. Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, quality, and equipment teams. Identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans when necessary. Ensure work progresses according to project milestones and contractual commitments. Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation activities. Direct and coordinate all concrete and structural construction activities. Manage self-perform crews, foremen, subcontractors, survey personnel, and craft professionals. Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maximize productivity. Oversee concrete placement operations including delivery, finishing, curing, and quality control. Verify proper installation of reinforcing steel, formwork, embeds, and structural components. Lead corrective action efforts when quality issues arise.
2+ years of construction experience with 1 year being in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity (preferably working on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, water/wastewater treatment plants etc.) Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewit's policies, procedures and software programs. Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise.
In addition, this position must have excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
