Heavy Civil Marine Construction Superintendent

Myrick Marine Contracting Corporation is a well-established and growing marine and heavy civil contractor based in Savannah, Georgia. We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Superintendent with proven leadership in heavy civil and marine construction to manage crews and oversee projects from start to finish.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can lead crews, maintain safety standards, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to completion
• Supervise and lead field crews, ensuring productivity and quality standards
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications
• Perform and oversee pile driving operations and project pile layout
• Manage concrete work including forming, pouring, and demolition
• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and skid steers when required
• Coordinate crew schedules, logistics, and job site resources
• Maintain job site safety standards and attend safety meetings
• Monitor crew performance, attendance, and training
• Load and unload equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Assist with marine operations or vessel work when required
• Communicate effectively with management and project teams

• 10+ years experience in heavy marine construction
• 8+ years experience managing crews
• Experience with pile driving, concrete work, and heavy timber construction preferred
• Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must live within commuting distance of Savannah, GA or be willing to relocate

• Monday - Thursday: 10-hour shifts
• Friday: 8-hour shift
• Overtime and occasional weekend work as required

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
