Location

Savannah, GA — This is an on-site opportunity for a hands‑on project leader who enjoys being close to the work, the team, and the customer.

Note:

Must have 3+ years of construction project management experience and 1+ year of direct fire protection or fire suppression systems experience. NICET Level III certification is strongly preferred.

Job Description
  • Lead multiple fire protection installation projects from initial planning through final completion, keeping scope, schedule, budget, and quality on track.
  • Coordinate project plans, specifications, contracts, fire suppression systems, alarms, and related safety infrastructure.
  • Direct on‑site teams and provide clear leadership to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
  • Partner with clients, subcontractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong project communication.
  • Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, contracts and project documentation to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, progress, and performance while preparing clear project status updates.
  • Conduct or support site inspections and audits to ensure work meets applicable building codes, fire safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Apply knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 72, NFPA 2001, and commercial fire protection requirements throughout project execution.
  • Manage competing priorities across concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Communicate project status, risks, challenges, and opportunities effectively to leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of construction project management experience.
  • 1+ year of fire protection, fire suppression, or closely related systems experience.
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or other complex construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, project plans, contracts, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 72, NFPA 2001, fire safety regulations, and applicable construction standards.
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and time management skills.
  • Construction site experience with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • NICET Level III certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
