The Savannah Ghost Pirates seek a Broadcasting and Media Relations Intern for the 2026-27 ECHL Season. Interns will assist with game‑day communications and operations while contributing to road‑game coverage remotely. The ideal candidate must have a passion for broadcasting and a desire to write, shoot/edit video, create content, and learn other duties as assigned.

Below are the roles and responsibilities for this internship:

• Assisting with setup and tear‑down of broadcast equipment and press box for all home games in the 2026‑27 regular season
• Collaborating with the Broadcaster and Manager of Media Relations to develop engaging video content tailored for our fan base
• Assisting in editing, producing, and posting post‑game highlights for each Ghost Pirates game
• Helping to craft game recaps and player stories to be published on the Ghost Pirates website and social media platforms
• Supplying game notes, media kits, and other materials for media members for all remaining home games
• Assisting in organizing and managing a library of player & sales‑oriented photos and footage, including categorizing, tagging, and ensuring accessibility of media assets for promotional/sales purposes
• Operating the Magnifi platform to cut clips in‑game, at home and on the road
• Live‑tweeting and posting game clips on X, Facebook, and Instagram for all regular‑season games
• Conducting interviews with players and coaches alongside the Broadcaster and Manager of Media Relations before and after games for future use within our broadcast and social media
• Opportunity to join Ghost Pirates home broadcasts as a color commentator and/or intermission host
• Attending community events and assisting the Broadcaster and Manager of Media Relations as needed
• Performing any other duties as assigned

This internship will provide hands‑on experience in professional sports social media, broadcasting, and media relations, allowing interns to become knowledgeable in all three sectors.
