Job InformationPosition ‑00280 – Customer Service Representative (Levels 1 &
2).
- 40‑hour work week (Mon‑Fri)
- 13 paid holidays per year

- Under supervision, communicate with the general public, internal and external customers to provide information and services that meet customer expectations.
- Initial check‑in of patients for General Intake, CHC, TRV, and STD clinics, collecting current address, phone number, insurance card, necessary documents.
- Monitor the patient waiting area and direct clients to the appropriate clinics within the health department or provide information for external services.
- Receive, screen, and direct telephone communications; check voicemail and return calls throughout the day.
- Resolve complicated issues involving customer service and/or research governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting (Level 1).
- Two (2) years of experience in a similar setting (Level 2), or one (1) year of experience in a lower‑level Customer Service Representative position (GST
120) or equivalent.
Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish.
