COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE (FULL-TIME) – Savannah, GA
The Collections Representative will complete a two‑week professional recovery agent training and then work to resolve open accounts with customers. You will use negotiation methodologies, maintain trustful customer relationships, and ensure timely payments toward recovery goals.
Responsibilities- Utilize contact technology and recovery strategies to locate the correct parties.
- Understand the customer’s situation and identify the best payment‑plan solution.
- Negotiate payment terms with empathy, tact, and professionalism.
- Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls.
- Follow all required scripts, policies, and procedures.
- Respond effectively to common challenges during collection calls.
- Meet monthly goals and perform other assigned duties.
- Attend meetings and training and review new material to stay up‑to‑date on program knowledge, systems, and processes.
- Adhere to attendance and work‑schedule requirements.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words/minute).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of Windows operating system.
- Highly reliable with ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues.
- Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation.
- Customer‑service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, conscientious).
- Ability to multi‑task, stay focused, and self‑manage.
- Strong team orientation and customer focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with teammates and customers.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
- Must be willing to submit up to a Level II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint; offers are contingent on results.
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening; offers are contingent on results.

The job operates in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary, required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset, and may need to move around the office, reach in any direction, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
