Project Manager​/Graphic Designer

Signs of the South is a fast growing custom sign shop located in Savannah, GA that deals primarily with construction contractors as we design, fabricate, and install custom signage. We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Project Manager with Graphic Design experience to oversee projects from concept to completion.

This is a client-focused environment where professionals manage multiple projects across different industries. As a project manager and graphic designer, you will collaborate directly with clients, vendors, and teammates to deliver high-quality visual and operational outcomes. The work often involves tight timelines, shifting priorities, and the need to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.

Role

Description:

This role combines strategic project management with attention to detail, including making decisions with various types of vendors. This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager / Graphic Designer role located at our main office in Savannah, GA. In this position, you will manage end-to-end project life cycles, including planning & designing, tracking milestones, permitting with the city, and coordinating with clients and vendors.

You will oversee expediting activities, ensuring that materials, creative assets, and approvals move efficiently through each stage of production. The role includes managing logistics, monitoring inspection or quality checkpoints, and resolving issues that may affect timelines or deliverables. On the design side, you will create and refine graphics, layouts, and visual assets that meet client requirements and city permitting guidelines.

You will also prepare project documentation, maintain status reports, and support continuous improvement of the current workflow.

You will be responsible for:

• Project Management
• Submittals/Shop Drawings
• Understanding blueprints
• Acknowledging deadline concerns and communicating them to team members

Qualifications:

• Strong project management capabilities, including project management experience with planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks across teams
• Logistics management skills to coordinate timelines, resources, vendors, and deliveries supporting project execution
• Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, etc.), including layout, typography, and visual branding
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey needed information to other employees and supervisor
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills with attention to detail

This full-time position is offered Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, working onsite at the office location (5507 Export Blvd, Savannah, GA 31408). Pay will include six nationally recognized holidays.
