Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Locum Tenens Job in South Georgia
A South Georgia hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage, primarily weekends, with flexible daytime scheduling.
Details/Requirements:Setting:
Well Newborn Nursery
Average Daily Census (ADC): 14 newborns
Annual Deliveries: 3,000
Shift Schedule:
Day shifts only (No overnights)
Flexible 10-12 hour shifts between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM
12-hour day shifts typical
Weekend coverage needed initially
Support: 24/7 in-house Neonatology coverage
Responsibilities:
Round on and manage well newborns
Attend routine C-sections and lower-risk deliveries
Perform circumcisions
