Early Learning Center Substitute Classroom Aide | St. James Catholic School

Saint James Catholic School Early Learning Center is seeking an active, patient individual for the position of classroom aide. The Aide will work closely with the teacher for the benefit of the little learners. The usual hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Early Learning Center Classroom Aide shall:

• Be at least 20 years of age
• Experience working in early learning is helpful
• Work closely with the teacher for the safety of the students
• Be able to lift.

Primary responsibilities include assisting the assigned lead teacher, supervising children, and assisting with all aspects of the classroom.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage.

All candidates must be eligible to pass clearances and background checks. All employees must complete the VIRTUS training for a safe environment. All candidates must be willing to complete any required training.

VIRTUS training and a criminal background check are required for hiring at parishes and the Diocese of Savannah.
