Job SummaryCoordinate in‑person and online professional development and personal enrichment programs for adults and military personnel, as well as youth programs and camps. Assist with the coordination of events on the Armstrong and Liberty campuses.
Employment is contingent upon funding.
Responsibilities- Assess community needs and plan educational opportunities to meet those needs
- Evaluate programs to ensure quality and client satisfaction
- Assist in the development of CE reports for Board of Regents (BOR) and other stakeholders
- Work with third‑party educational providers to plan and coordinate course offerings
- Plan, develop, and coordinate the delivery of professional development, personal enrichment, youth, and summer programs, as well as programs for seniors over 50
- Submit and update course and student information in all applicable web portals, including MyCAA, the Department of Defense, and partner institutions
- Recruit, interview, and hire faculty, staff, and subject‑matter experts to teach Continuing Education courses and youth camps
- Work with CPE Marketing to design and implement marketing plans for each program
- Work with business services to purchase required materials
- Develop a budget for each program to ensure ROI and sustainability
- Assist with events on the Statesboro, Armstrong, and Liberty campuses and conferences in the Savannah area
- Bachelor’s Degree
- One (1) or more years of related work experience
- Master’s Degree
- Three (3) or more years of experience working in Continuing Education at a community college or university
$43,067 – $53,834 (non‑exempt, biweekly)

- Ability to learn and effectively use new software programs
- Adherence to university policies and procedures to meet institutional goals
- Knowledge of assessment methods to ensure program quality and client satisfaction
- Knowledge of adult learning theories
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
- Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills
- Presentation and public speaking skills
