Position: Dance Teacher / Program Leader

Our mission at Calvary Day School is to provide a Christ-centered educational experience for students attending from Birth through 12th grade through the development of the total student — spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

Calvary Day School is not just where students go to class — it is a place where they are known, encouraged, and surrounded by people who care deeply about who they are becoming. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and through those relationships, students are challenged to discover their gifts and step into God’s calling for their lives.

Every student’s journey looks a little different, but at Calvary, no one walks it alone. Our teachers, coaches, and mentors come alongside students in a way that feels like family — helping them uncover their unique strengths, celebrate successes, and grow through challenges. We believe a Calvary education is about more than academics. It is about shaping character, building lasting friendships, and growing in faith.

Whether in the classroom, on the field, on stage, or serving in the community, our students are given space to shine and the encouragement to live with purpose. Calvary Day School is not just a school where students are prepared for the next step, but a place where they discover their spark and begin to live out their calling.

Calvary Day School offers a full menu of benefits employees are eligible to participate in immediately, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, 403(b), paid time off, and lunch every day you are working. Total Compensation at Calvary Day School includes a competitive base salary, medical premium assistance, tuition discounts for enrolled dependents, and a 403(b) contribution match.

Calvary Day School seeks a passionate, highly skilled, and collaborative dance educator to serve as the Dance Teacher for Calvary’s Company Dance program. This individual will lead the school’s technique‑based dance programming across multiple grade level divisions while helping shape the long‑term vision and growth of dance education within the Fine Arts Department.

The Dance Teacher will oversee the school’s Company Dance program, lead day school dance instruction, direct Fine Arts Academy dance programming, coordinate dance performances and productions, and contribute to the strategic growth of Fine Arts at Calvary Day School. The ideal candidate is a studio‑trained educator with strong technical expertise, organizational leadership, and a passion for student development within a Christ‑centered educational environment.

This position will work within a highly collaborative Fine Arts Department with shared production, operational, and strategic support.
