Savannah State University established in 1890, is the first public historically black college or university in the state of Georgia and the first institution of higher learning in the city of Savannah. The university's students select majors from five colleges:

Job Summary

This posting is for SSU's temporary pool. Applicants will be selected on an as needed basis. Minimum requirements will vary with each position. Positions include but are not limited to:

* Accountant

* Administrative Assistant (office/clerical)

* Admissions Specialist

* Athletic Coach (all sports)

* Custodial

* Information Technology Support Technicians

* Instructors, Mentors and Tutors (Trio Programs, GEAR Up)

* Maintenance Worker (General Maintenance and HVAC

NOTE:
