Position Overview
The Curriculum & Prevention Program VISTA will strengthen organizational capacity by developing sustainable curriculum systems, improving prevention education resources, supporting program documentation, enhancing youth engagement tools, and building internal structures that allow staff and community partners to deliver high‑quality prevention programming. The VISTA will support the Family Always Matter Prevention Program by helping organize evidence‑based curriculum materials including Sexual Risk Avoidance Education, Aggression Replacement Training, social‑emotional learning, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, healthy decision‑making, and life skills education.
Responsibilities- Strengthen the capacity, consistency, and sustainability of the Family Always Matter Prevention Program by developing curriculum tools, program systems, facilitator resources, and documentation processes that support trauma‑informed prevention education for at‑risk youth ages 11–17.
