Saint James Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, certified, professional educator to teach in fifth grade for the upcoming school year.

• Teach fifth grade Language Arts/Reading curriculum in alignment with school standards for the upcoming school year.

• Current certification in GA or another state
• Current Virtus training or ability to complete safe environment training prior to start
• Background check, fingerprints required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Facility with computers and various computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn and use school programs

• have some experience teaching
• have a professional demeanor and positive attitude
• develop and maintain a positive learning environment
• work well independently, but also collaboratively with others
• use data to set goals, action plans, and instruction

VIRTUS training and a criminal background check are required for hiring at parishes and the Diocese of Savannah.
