Job Title: ESS - STARS Childcare Teachers

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning both long- and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice, and program philosophy.
• Assist in preparing monthly charts and lesson plans.
• Contribute to planning and creating ideas for student activities using the Georgia Early Learning Standards (GELDS).
• Assist with keeping all appropriate records such as anecdotal notes, attendance, timesheets, and accident reports.
• Support other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring a healthy and effective work environment.

• TCC, TCD, CDA, AS in ECE or Paraprofessional Certificate and experience required.
• CPR, and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with teaching or assistant teaching position with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, childcare center, or church nursery preferred.
• Ability to multitask and make immediate decisions in the best interest of children in emergency situations.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Salary: Pay Grade 7
