Job SummaryThe College of Business Administration at Savannah State University is seeking part‑time faculty applications for Academic Year for day, evening, and online classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
NOTEIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize and communicate instruction in ways that encourage and stimulate student learning
- Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies that facilitate and promote student success
- Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with college and university policies
- Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
- Submit immediate alerts in EAB when students are at risk
- Submit mid‑term and final grade reports by the set University deadlines as well as completed course assessment forms at the end of each semester
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in regards to student interaction and information
- Comply with all university academic policies
- Master's degree in a related field with 18 credit hours in one of the aforementioned subject areas
- Post secondary teaching experience
