The College of Science and Humanities at Savannah State University is seeking part-time faculty applications for  academic year to teach day, evening or weekend classes.

• Astronomy
• Introductory Biology
• Introductory Chemistry
• English, Languages, and Cultures
• Political Science and Public Administration
• Environmental Science
• Forensic Science
• Integrated Science
• Marine Science
• History
• Criminal Justice
• Social Work

• Plan, organize and communicate instruction in ways that encourage and stimulate student learning
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies that facilitate and promote student success
• Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with college and university policies
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
• Submit immediate alerts in EAB when students are at risk
• Submit mid‑term and final grade reports by the set University deadlines as well as completed course assessment forms at the end of each semester
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in regards to student interaction and information
• Comply with all university academic policies

• Master's degree with 18 credit hours in one of the aforementioned subject areas.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
