Lecturer, SACJ (Sociology, Anthropology & Criminal Justice)
Rutgers University‑Camden, Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Sociology, Anthropology & Criminal Justice Department (SACJ) is seeking part‑time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in sociology, anthropology, and criminal justice in Camden and on‑campus sites in Mays Landing (Atlantic Cape Community College) and Blackwood (Camden County College). Positions are scheduled for Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Spring 2027, and/or Summer 2027.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned undergraduate courses, presenting course material during scheduled times
- Hold office hours for students
- Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and other assessments
- Coordinate course requirements and related administrative duties
- Master’s degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred)
- Relevant teaching experience in sociology, anthropology, or criminal justice
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver undergraduate instruction
