Position: SY 26-27 STEM/STEAM Lead Teacher
Lead Stem/Stem Teacher
The lead STEM/STEAM teacher will be responsible for developing learning activities and hands-on materials, addressing students' needs, and communicating regularly with stakeholders.

Requirements:
Education Level: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education or STEM/STEAM-related field.
Experience, Skill, and Certification:Valid teaching certificate in the field of Elementary Education (P–5).
Knowledge of inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills: the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students and faculty.
Experience with techniques to motivate student learning through inquiry, discussion, and the application of knowledge.
Knowledge/awareness of one's own cultural identity and how it influences behavior, and a desire to learn about the cultural identity of others.
Essential Duties:
Developing STEM/STEAM K-5 standards-based lesson plans.Planning daily lessons and providing instruction for students in grades K-5.Adopting a data-driven attitude towards measuring learner progress.Develops rigorous, comprehensive STEM/STEAM curriculum, interactive instructional activities, and authentic problem-based experiences forCoordinates the acquisition of all STEM/STEAM instructional materials, software, tools, and equipment for the success of theAttending to individual student needs.Demonstrating an awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures.Communicating regularly with parents and other stakeholdersMonitoring student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement.Using learner data to constantly refine your curriculum.Providing regular feedback to students.Develop ongoing training and professional development for site-based instructors.Conducts other duties as assigned
