St. Andrew's School is an independent, nonsectarian, college preparatory day school serving approximately 500 students from age 3 through Grade 12 on Wilmington Island in Savannah, Georgia. St. Andrew's School seeks a visible, relational, and mission-driven Head of School, who will serve as the School's chief executive and educational leader and report to the Board of Trustees. The next Head will advance the mission, support excellent teaching and learning across the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, strengthen enrollment and philanthropy, and ensure the School's long-term institutional health. Joining SAS at an important moment of leadership transition and campaign momentum, the Head will have the opportunity to build on the School's strengths in personalized education, IB programming, arts, athletics, college preparation, and community life while helping shape its next chapter with clarity, warmth, and shared purpose.

• Champion the mission, values, identity, and student-centered culture of St. Andrew's School
• Provide educational leadership across the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools and support strong academic programs
• Build trusted relationships with students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, trustees, and community partners
• Recruit, support, evaluate, and retain excellent faculty and staff while fostering collaboration and accountability
• Partner with enrollment leadership to strengthen admissions, retention, and the School's competitive position
• Advance annual giving, campaign priorities, endowment growth, and donor stewardship in partnership with the Board and advancement team
• Work with the Board and business leadership to ensure responsible budgeting, sound operations, and long-term financial sustainability

The ideal candidate will:

• Bring significant leadership experience in an independent, college preparatory, or mission-driven school setting
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of teaching, learning, curriculum, and student development across multiple divisions
• Lead with visibility, warmth, integrity, courage, empathy, and a commitment to clear communication
• Understand independent school governance and cultivate a productive, transparent partnership with the Board of Trustees
• Bring sound financial judgment and experience with enrollment, advancement, budgeting, and institutional strategy
• Value the International Baccalaureate philosophy and be genuinely enthusiastic about joining the St. Andrew's and Savannah communities
