We’re seeking an Electrical Construction Estimator who enjoys working in preconstruction environments where accuracy, collaboration, and strategy come together to shape winning proposals. This role focuses on low voltage estimating, quantity takeoffs, vendor coordination, and bid preparation to support competitive and well-scoped project submissions. It’s a strong fit for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and confident communicating with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Support preconstruction and bid development for electrical and low voltage projects.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and estimate scopes using digital tools and Navisworks.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, quotes, and material information.
- Assist with proposal preparation, bid reviews, and cost comparison analyses.
- Participate in value review discussions and help identify competitive pricing opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience estimating low voltage or electrical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of preconstruction workflows, bidding, and proposal processes.
- Ability to evaluate drawings, specifications, and project documents for scope clarity.
- Experience performing digital takeoffs and estimate development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when working with vendors and partners.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple bid priorities in a fast-paced environment.
