About Archaea

bp is committed to investing in lower carbon energy so we can meet our ambition to reach net zero by 2050. And while we're still mostly in oil and gas today, bioenergy is one of our five transition growth engines and a key focus to help us support the global energy transition.

Archaea Energy, a bp company, is a leader in landfill gas to energy and the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the US. With big ambitions, we specialize in the development, construction and operation of RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric and dairy digester facilities. The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Delivery Manager to lead the AMD Equipment delivery program to ensure all AMD Equipment is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required performance standards in support of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) development projects. The Delivery Manager will manage AMD Equipment realization efforts from Outside Service Provider (OSP) procurement management through OSP manufacturing management, acceptance testing, and equipment make‑ready.

As a self‑performing OEM, this role is critical to both successful project execution and long‑term operational performance. The Delivery Manager will work closely with the Product Management Team (PMT) to solicit direction or technical support when required by OSPs or internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate interactions between suppliers and the Quality Control & Excellence team who perform supplier surveillance and inspections.
  • Work with Construction to align ready‑to‑ship dates to required‑on‑site dates to drive construction efficiencies.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate equipment delivery risks.
  • Manage AMD Equipment upgrades and retrofits.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery speed, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Capture lessons learned and conduct post‑delivery review workshops to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions and best practices.
  • Lead project teams, promote accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential education
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field.
Essential experience
  • 5+ years' experience managing complex projects with equipment delivery responsibility.
