Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $100k - $130k – Based on experience and qualifications

Lead structural development for airframe products, specializing in static stress and F&D&T analysis for metallic and composite components. This role partners with design teams to validate parts, ensure structural compliance, and apply advanced numerical methods to optimize aircraft assemblies and mentor junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve exceptionally intricate technical issues with creative and advanced engineering solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive static and F&D&T evaluations for both metallic and non-metallic airframe parts.
- Create formal structural documentation to support design trades and technical drawing releases.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to address sophisticated engineering hurdles.
- Pioneer advanced structural methodologies and oversee their integration into final product designs.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers regarding structural mechanics and material properties.
- Manage significant segments of major engineering initiatives and project life cycles.
- Establish project goals, delegate specific tasks, and manage delivery schedules.
- Maintain clear professional communication across all levels of the organization.
- Identify and implement necessary corrective measures and technical resolutions.
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a structural focus.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in primary airframe structural analysis.
- Proven background analyzing both composite and metallic aircraft structures.
- Expert proficiency in finite element methods and classical stress analysis techniques.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Practical experience applying fatigue and damage tolerance principles to aviation structures.
- Proficiency with CAD software, specifically Solid Works or similar platforms.
- Technical expertise using NASTRAN and FEMAP for structural modeling.
- Demonstrated history of leadership in structural validation and engineering mentorship.
- Competency in preparing analysis reports for formal certification and technical sign-off.
- Experience developing novel structural concepts and transitioning them into a production environment.
