Job Summary:

Roberts Civil Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for the Civil Engineering Design division of the company at our Savannah
, Georgia office.

This position is responsible for leading the design and development of plans for a wide range of land development projects, including commercial sites, residential subdivisions, multi‑family communities, and roadway improvements. The Project Manager will oversee design delivery for a diverse client base, ensuring projects meet company standards for quality, accuracy, and timeliness while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This role also provides leadership to the design team, guiding staff, coordinating project efforts, and fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Strategic Work

• Complete projects to meet and exceed quarterly goals and metrics
• Recommend efficiencies in the production process to Director
• Keep weekly task lists for work to be accomplished
• Understand RCE Systems and ensure compliance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Tactical Work

• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple projects
• Routinely interact with clients, authorities, contractors, and subcontractors
• Create proposals
• Engage in subcontractor agreements
• Create project schedule with key permits and track status
• Communicate weekly with clients on progress
• Oversee progress of projects

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Eight plus years’ experience in engineering land development design (preferred)
• Proficient with AutoCAD (required);
  AutoCAD Civil 3D would be a plus (1 year preferred)
• Self‑motivated
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• United States Work Authorization (required)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to travel to various project sites
• Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
