• Responsible for performing basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned
• Understand the project delivery process and help define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals, mill safety, reliability, and improvement efforts
• Collaborate with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems
• Prepare or assist in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results
• Successfully perform non-complex and routine assignments while developing engineering fundamentals
• Understand and execute work in a manner consistent with safety procedures and practices with some guidance
• Utilize basic communication tools such as memos, email, and verbal to update others on progress of assignments when prompted
• Develop relationships with teams and process areas as needed with each assignment
• Interact with other mill departments such as Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, etc. to achieve assignment objectives

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Functional/Technical Skills, Drive for Results, Informing, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, Organizing, Planning, Problem-Solving, Learning on the Fly, Decision Quality, Dealing with Ambiguity,
