Avionics/Elec Tech II – GAC Savannah
Position OverviewGulfstream seeks an Avionics/Electrical Technician II to perform technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. The role supports both 1st and 2nd shift and may fill in for the Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician.
Key Responsibilities- High School Diploma or GED required; or 4 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years accredited aviation electronics education plus 2 years related experience.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred; FCC, NCATT preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
