A leading manufacturer of heavy construction equipment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of specialized machinery used on major infrastructure construction projects.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for heavy equipment.
- Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, service, and operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Support product development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot engineering and field-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience designing heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or mobile equipment.
- Proficiency with Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of welded structures, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
