As the go-to engineer for reliability and throughput, you’ll design, implement, and sustain the machinery and interfaces that power Toyo’s processes—pushing equipment to meet, and often exceed, demanding output goals with efficiency and endurance.

What your day could look like

Walk the line with machinists and technicians to verify installations align with design intent and specifications—then remove roadblocks so work proceeds safely and on schedule.

Huddle with planning and design teams to refine equipment designs and tooling choices that streamline workflows and reduce cycle time.

Meet with vendors to lock in requirements, source parts and systems, and evaluate options against spec, quality, and value criteria.

Dive into proposals, specifications, and OEM manuals to judge feasibility and suitability for our applications before committing.

Apply statistical analyses to forecast equipment capability for future mold repair volume and mix, informing capacity and investment plans.

Engineer products and systems—spanning instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical/thermal/hydraulic/heat transfer domains.

Lead engineering personnel building control apparatus and defining repeatable methods and procedures for equipment and systems.

Coordinate operations, maintenance, and repair efforts to maximize machine uptime and utilization.

Design interfaces that connect machines, hardware, and software into robust, user-friendly systems.

Assess installations, pinpoint root causes of malfunctions, and recommend design changes to eliminate issues.

What you’ll bring

Must have an Engineering Degree (Bachelor’s level or higher).Must have Manufacturing Experience.

Must have 2+ management experience to direct a group of machinists.

You should be proficient in:
Bachelor’s Degree.
