Orthos Liquid Systems and Beacon Water Technologies are growing providers of specialized water and wastewater treatment equipment serving municipal and industrial clients throughout North America.
Orthos Liquid Systems provides filtration underdrain systems, filter nozzles, air scour systems, washwater troughs, and related filtration equipment used in municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. Orthos equipment is utilized in gravity filters, pressure filters, and other filtration applications requiring specialized hydraulic distribution and backwash systems.
Beacon Water Technologies provides advanced cloth media filtration systems for municipal wastewater, water reuse, and tertiary treatment applications. Beacon systems incorporate mechanical equipment, instrumentation, controls, pumps, valves, and process equipment requiring startup, commissioning, optimization, and ongoing technical support.
Together, the two companies provide specialized treatment solutions for municipal water and wastewater facilities throughout North America. The Field Service Engineer serves as a key technical representative supporting equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and customer training activities for both organizations.
Position SummaryThe Field Service Engineer serves as the primary field representative for both companies and supports installation, startup, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and customer training activities throughout North America.
Primary Responsibilities- Equipment startup and commissioning
- Construction and installation training and support
- Performance testing and verification
- Customer training and support
- Technical reporting and documentation
- Coordination with contractors, engineers, and owners
- Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively

Travel RequirementsApproximately 75–85% travel throughout the United States and Canada including weekly travel assignments, overnight stays, and extended startup visits.
