Colonial Terminals, Inc. (CTI) is an industry leader in handling and storing liquid and dry bulk products. We own and operate the largest, independent, liquid and dry bulk storage facilities with breakbulk capability in the southeastern United States. Colonial Terminals, Inc., is a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc.

The E&I Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, operation and expansion of Colonial's process control systems, industrial network and electrical infrastructures to support six liquid and dry bulk storage facilities and numerous product handling systems.

• Maintain and troubleshoot Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition while working in a team environment to ensure proper terminal operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial TCP/IP and Modbus networks of PLC and various I&E field devices such as Coriolis flow meters, RADARs, motor controllers, motor starter protection relays, PLC Remote IO Racks, flow control valves, etc. Installation and configuration of all field devices will also be required.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fiber networks, Stratix switches, Antaira network technologies, patch panels, and both fiber and Cat5/6 terminations.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections, certifications, and calibrations of various I&E equipment listed above.
• Maintain/manage Factory Talk Server installation, programming, and software updates.
• Participate in the design of E&I system replacement and expansion.
• Work with the HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
• Maintain plant-wide security access point control systems including automated gate openers, server-based biometric scanning systems, and CCTV surveillance systems.

• Must possess high standards in safety, quality, and customer focus.
• At least five years of experience as an I&E Specialist in an industrial facility with numerous process systems and hazardous liquids such as flammables and corrosives.
• Accreditation, training, and certification in related E&I technology and industrial fields.
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of modern industrial process control schemes such as Factory Talk, Tank Master, and variable frequency drives.
• Excellent working knowledge of PLC based control products including Allen‑Bradley Control Logix, PLC5, and PLC 500, as well as analog and digital field instrumentation products such as RADAR, various flow meters (Coriolis, vortex, swirl, turbine and mag), pressure and temperature sensors and flow control valves, NFPA 70E, standard LOTO procedures, electrical area classification and installation requirements for hazardous area classification, electrical schematics/drawings and P&.
• MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
