Senior Avionics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Engineer with 15+ years of experience in avionics systems engineering. The role involves leading complex engineering projects, developing innovative technical solutions, and supporting the integration, testing, and certification of avionics systems for Gulfstream aircraft.

• Lead engineering projects involving complex avionics system integration.
• Develop innovative engineering methods, technologies, and processes.
• Perform technical research and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Support system integration, laboratory testing, and aircraft functional testing.
• Analyze and determine root cause of system functional issues identified during lab and flight testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership.
• Support R&D initiatives and promote new avionics technologies.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and certification requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of avionics engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Avionics System Integration
  .
• Hands‑on experience with DO-178 and DO-254 processes.
• Experience with System Integration Lab (SIL) and/or aircraft functional testing
  .
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex engineering assignments.

• Experience with IBM DOORS or equivalent requirements management tool.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 25 and EASA certification processes.
