PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find an experienced Systems Engineer ready to take on complex engineering challenges and help advance the next generation of aircraft.

The OpportunityAs a Systems Engineer, you’ll support the planning, design, analysis, development, and production of aerospace products and services. You’ll work closely with engineering teams and cross-functional partners to develop technical solutions, improve processes, and ensure engineering requirements are met.
This is a role for an engineer who can work independently, think critically, and translate complex technical challenges into practical solutions.
What You’ll Do- Plan, develop, and coordinate important engineering projects and initiatives.
- Perform design and analysis activities supporting aircraft development and production.
- Provide specialized technical guidance and assistance to engineering team members.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques and theories to solve complex technical problems.
- Develop innovative approaches to technical challenges while balancing schedule and cost objectives.
- Work with limited supervision while maintaining high standards for accuracy, quality, and performance.
- Serve as a liaison between engineering teams and representatives from other groups or functional areas.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to enhance engineering processes.
- Ensure work meets customer requirements, engineering standards, and program objectives.
- Stay current on developments in aircraft systems and related engineering disciplines.
- Recommend innovations that can improve product quality, effectiveness, and performance.
- Perform additional engineering responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a specific engineering discipline or 10+ years of broad engineering experience across multiple technical disciplines with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency with CATIA V5.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions within established schedule and cost objectives.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with aircraft systems such as:
- Hydraulics
- Waste and water systems
- Landing gear
- Experience with 3D tubing routing and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with NX 3D software.
- Experience with Teamcenter.
- Aerospace or aircraft development and production experience.
Advanced-degree experience credit may be considered, with up to 2 years for a Master’s degree and 4 years for a PhD in applicable fields.
Pay Details:$56.09 per hour
