Collegiate Associate, MRB​/Liaison Engineer, Avionics & Electrical Systems

• Review and analyze electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
• Analyze flight data for electrical and avionics-related aircraft systems
• Provide on-wing engineering support to manufacturing and test teams
• Provide authorized engineering instruction/disposition for complex aircraft system issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other MRB Engineering disciplines
• Revise test specifications related to avionics and electrical systems
• Communicate new issues and trends with Electrical Systems and Avionics Design Engineers
• Conduct frequent briefings and discussions with Gulfstream test pilots
• Review and disposition supplier component non-conformances
• Evaluate and resolve avionics and electrical system discrepancies on Gulfstream large-cabin aircraft
• Support aircraft manufacturing, testing, and flight operations while ensuring conformity to design specifications, safety expectations, and certification requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application
• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume
• Minimum duration: 10-12 weeks (summer); 10-16 weeks (spring and fall)
• Must work onsite; this is not a remote position
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• No work visa sponsorship, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee

• Pilot's license, aviation/aircraft, and aircraft electrical systems, avionics, and system integration listed as relevant interests

Demonstrates strong capabilities in analyzing electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, providing engineering support for avionics systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficient in MATLAB and Python coding, with a solid understanding of electrical systems and compliance with safety and certification standards.
