The Role

Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry’s studios. They are well‑versed in all aspects of our business, comply with company policies, procedures, and directives, and are key to developing lasting client relationships. Client Specialists provide superior hospitality, assist clients with class selections, bookings, and questions, maintain a clean studio, process Fuel Bar orders, and handle merchandise purchases.

They are excellent communicators and positive brand ambassadors, helping convey memorable experiences for our clients.

Front Desk Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high‑quality client experience by understanding hospitality principles and providing personalized service.
  • Serve as an effective brand ambassador, welcoming clients and ensuring a memorable experience that reflects the Barry’s brand.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with clients and staff.
  • Communicate with supervisors and peers via telephone, email, text, or in person in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deliver first‑class client experience at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere by assisting in studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep as needed.
  • Guide clients regarding the latest studio promotions, membership discounts, and special events.
  • Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations and participate in all relevant training and development programs.
  • Adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, morning or night shifts, and meet minimum availability requirements.
Fuel Bar Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality protein smoothies and provide customer service in the Fuel Bar.
  • Handle pre‑orders and on‑spot orders customized to each client’s needs.
  • Assist clients with product selection and complete orders in a timely manner using a POS transaction.
  • Maintain the Fuel Bar department areas clean and sanitized.
  • Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations.
  • Properly rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and department tables, paying special attention to spoiling goods according to company policy.
  • Prepare various Fuel Bar goods following company recipes.
Facility Maintenance
  • Prepare studio spaces before, after, and between classes by cleaning exercise equipment, sweeping, mopping or vacuuming floors, and wiping mirrors.
  • Support the cleaning and maintenance of locker rooms to brand standard as directed.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas including the lobby, Fuel Bar, Red Room/Lift/Ride spaces, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas.
  • Perform small studio repairs when appropriate.
  • Manage laundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towels.
  • Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists.
Customer Service
  • Provide the highest level of hospitality to all existing and new clients.
  • Maintain the client database and utilize information to increase client contact.
  • Attend social functions within the community to generate new business, invite current and prospective clients to in‑studio events, and reach out through curated clienteling tools.
Qualifications
  • Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Ability to work either a full‑time or part‑time schedule.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction.
  • Exhibits enthusiasm for the studio and for the job.
  • Patience, courtesy, empathy, and a can‑do attitude when responding to client requests.
  • Cooperative manner with a focus on team culture.
  • Ability to prioritize and work within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exceptional cleaning skills and a clear understanding of a sanitary environment.
  • Attention to detail and care for the studio’s appearance and cleanliness.
  • Team player with all Barry’s staff members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum age of 18 years or older to apply.
Pay Range

13.50 - 13.50 USD per hour (Atlanta)
