Position: VP of Finance and Accounting (Luv)

Job Description

We are seeking a VP of Finance and Accounting to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role entails overseeing financial and accounting for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Forecasting, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Planning, Cash Flow Management and other Finance focused work
  • Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the organization
  • Take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, compliance, and financial performance and reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy.
  • Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and profitability.
  • Oversee end-of-month financial closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Develop strategies to optimize financial performance and profitability.
Qualifications
  • Position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Must possess a strong understanding and experience in Month End Close processes.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • A professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
  • Proven strategic planning and financial analysis skills including proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism, given the sensitive nature of the job.
