Actuarial Analyst

Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join the team in Atlanta, GA or remotely.

• Conduct actuarial studies as requested by client; analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes.
• Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance, and business to calculations in casualty insurance.
• Obtain, input, and summarize large databases for use in actuarial studies.
• Follow up as necessary with clients and managers to ensure studies are complete and delivered within deadlines.
• Organize and document work so that others may follow up and trace the flow of work performed to date.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or similar field.
• Must possess or be actively pursuing an Associate, Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation.
• Minimum of 0-5 years’ actuarial and/or insurance experience.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
