Tax Professional

MCI Careers is seeking a Tax Professional to support our Finance, Accounting & Administration team in the Financial Services industry. In this performance-driven, fast-paced role, you will prepare and review business and individual tax returns, ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations, and support tax planning initiatives. You will analyze financial data, research complex tax issues, respond to tax notices, and assist with audits.

The position offers advanced training, coaching, clear performance metrics, and opportunities for growth within a global CX and BPO leader serving top-tier brands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state business and individual tax returns
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with current regulations
• Analyze financial statements and supporting schedules for tax implications
• Conduct tax research and document positions on complex tax issues
• Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize client and company tax positions
• Respond to tax notices and support tax audits and inquiries
• Maintain organized work papers and documentation for all tax engagements
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting & Administration on reporting and forecasts
• Monitor changes in tax law and recommend process or policy updates
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet defined performance metrics
