General Description:

This position is responsible for supporting the Bank's BSA/AML compliance program through the review and monitoring of customer activity, investigation of potentially suspicious transactions, performance of customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence reviews, and preparation of regulatory filings. Under the guidance of the BSA Officer, the BSA Analyst assists with the administration of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Program, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, Customer Identification Program, and related regulatory requirements.

The position works closely with other departments to identify and mitigate compliance risk while helping ensure the Bank's ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Skills and Characteristics for Applicants:

The qualified candidate will possess a strong understanding of BSA/AML compliance requirements and related banking regulations. Experience with transaction monitoring, investigations, customer due diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence reviews, and SAR and CTR filings is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to interact professionally with employees, management, regulators, auditors, legal counsel, and law enforcement while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience working independently and exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of three years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, fraud prevention, investigations, banking operations, risk management, or a related field is preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, criminal justice, or a related field preferred. Candidates with CAMS certification are encouraged to apply.
