Associate - Quality Control - Analysts

Job Description

Associate (Full Time Contract) – 12 month contract located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

We are hiring immediately for an analytical laboratory Associate to support process and product development teams. The role requires driving analytical support and technology development that impacts scale‑up, formulation, and GMP/non‑GMP projects.

• Prepare and deliver fit‑for‑purpose formulations; perform dose analyses for PK/PD and toxicology studies per SOPs.
• Execute HPLC/UPLC assays; process, integrate, and summarize data for project teams.
• Maintain complete ELN documentation, ensuring sample labeling, traceability, and data integrity.
• Support laboratory readiness (equipment upkeep, supplies, safety) and coordinate with project representatives to meet study timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience.
• OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience.

• Proficiency in HPLC/UPLC for content and stability testing, including data processing and integration; experience with laboratory automation platforms for high‑throughput screening.
• Fundamental understanding of drug formulation and key physicochemical properties relevant to preclinical dosing.
• Proficiency in basic organic chemistry and core lab techniques (e.g., pH measurement, weighing, filtration, microscopy).

Pay Range: $22–$24 per hour.
