Role Overview
Oversees operations of the medical practices. Stays abreast of all State and Federal rules & regulations, as they relate to the clinical and administrative segments of the practice. Functions as Medical Group Management liaison to the St. Joseph/Candler Medical Group Practices.

Core Job FunctionsPrepares and monitors budget. Responsible for yearly evaluations of all staff, property management and supporting SJ/C Administration. Monthly reports, special reports and presentations are completed on time. Overall, responsible for all day-to-day operations of the departments and programs. Participates actively as the departmental leader and provides leadership to all staff. Coordinates and demonstrates expertise in all aspects of managed care and key relationships.
Completes administrative tasks timely.
Assures all distribution processes are operating appropriately and communicates procurement and logistical functions. Assures staff are courteous, use proper phone etiquette and conduct themselves within the spirit of the SJ/C Mission and Values.
Strong collaboration relationships with physician providers which engages them in evaluating and improving clinical care among their peers. Focuses on clinical quality indicators for assigned patient population and report cards. Functions as physician liaison for service line physicians.
