MRI Technologist – Evening Shift (Travel Assignment)
Location: Savannah GA - 31405
Division: Allied | Care Setting: Acute
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (12–13 weeks depending on start date)
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Evenings) with call rotation
Shift Length: 8 hours | Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a high-volume acute care environment serving Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department populations. The ideal candidate will have strong recent hospital-based MRI experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with significant patient throughput.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality MRI procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients.
- Operate 2 MRI scanners (1.5T Fuji Oval).
- Perform and/or assist with Breast MRI and Breast Biopsy procedures (preferred).
- Ensure strict adherence to TJC standards and departmental protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH charting system.
- Provide safe patient care, screening, positioning, and monitoring.
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
- Demonstrate punctuality and strong attendance reliability.
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based MRI experience (INPATIENT/OP/ED required).
- Associate of Science Degree (required).
- Active professional license in state of practice (required).
- MRI Certification (required).
- ARRT Certification (required).
- BLS (AHA) certification (required).
- Breast MRI and biopsy experience (preferred).
- Must meet 100-mile radius rule.
- Strong preference for candidates with acute care (not primarily clinic-based) experience.
