Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 145-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short‑and long‑term inpatient care, and a 50‑bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for collecting, maintaining and making available to authorized users timely, accurate and complete patient health information.

• Prioritize, locate, pull, assemble, track and see to the appropriate transport of records requested by other departments in accordance with established standards.
• Keep the requester of any record that was not in the file notified of efforts to locate.
• Accurately file all charts belonging to assigned aisles to appropriate location daily.
• Accurately file all loose papers for assigned aisles within three business days of receipt.
• Maintain clean aisles.
• Perform other work as needed/assigned.
