Registered Nurse Director Of Emergency Services

Job Responsibilities

Registered Nurse Director candidates for the Emergency Department will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Director of Emergency Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s) and department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring.
• The Director of Emergency Services fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Registered Nurse Director candidates for the Emergency Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 1+ years of recent applicable experience of Managerial or Director Level experience required
• 3+ years of recent applicable experience in Emergency Room experience required
• 3-5 years of recent Pediatric Experience. Will not consider Mother Baby, NICU, Labor and Delivery candidates
