Patient Care Technician – Entry Level

We are seeking compassionate and dependable candidates for entry-level Patient Care Technician opportunities.

Patient Care Technicians work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to assist with basic patient-care needs and help maintain a safe and comfortable patient environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic activities of daily living
• Obtain and document basic vital signs as directed
• Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and transport
• Prepare patient rooms and maintain a clean care environment
• Stock basic patient-care supplies
  
  Answer patient call lights and communicate needs to nursing staff
• Provide basic comfort and non-clinical patient assistance
• Document assigned patient information accurately
• Follow infection-prevention and safety procedures
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Report changes or concerns to appropriate clinical staff

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current HIPAA training certificate required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with patient care
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
• Ability to follow safety, infection-control, and confidentiality procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA, PCT, nursing assistant, or healthcare-related training
• Previous caregiving or patient-care experience
