Respiratory Therapist II; RRT

Respiratory Therapist II, responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.

• Provide patient care, documentation, and education, promoting a team-oriented environment.
• Perform ventilator management, airway management, aerosolized medication administration, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Assess patient needs, collaborate with healthcare team members, and ensure safe, quality care aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients, mentor new staff, and participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostic testing as needed.
• Support a safe environment by promoting medication safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies.

• Minimum 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP.
• Preferred education:
  
  Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; ability to establish effective working relationships.
