La Vetta, a new Italian dining destination from Southern Cross Hospitality, is seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join the team as we prepare to open this spring in downtown Savannah. The kitchen is led by a chef who earned a star in the Michelin Guide Italy 2023. The dining experience will be intentional, intimate, and consistent. To support this, we are building a team that is polished without being stiff, and precise without losing warmth.
From the kitchen to the dining room and bar, every team member plays a vital role for our guests.
As our lead host, you manage the details that make the night feel personal. You protect the reservation book, maintain guest profiles, and ensure special occasions and preferences are communicated with clarity and discretion.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain guest profiles, preferences, and celebration details in Resy
- Handle confirmations, special requests, dietary notes, and pre‑arrival communication
- Coordinate VIP planning with the floor manager and service leadership
- Support accurate quoting and pacing by keeping notes clean and current
- Follow up when needed so issues close with care and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a composed tone
- Close attention to detail and strong follow‑through
- Resy experience preferred
- Discreet, organized, and calm under pressure
