Onboarding and Training Coordinator

The Onboarding and Training Coordinator creates a positive, engaging, and welcoming experience for new hires across Parker’s Kitchen store locations and serves as the company's first in-person representative. This role conducts onboarding, introduces team members to company policies and procedures, coordinates training activities, maintains compliance records, processes and analyzes onboarding and training reports, and helps ensure employees are prepared for success from day one.

Spending approximately 2 to 3 days each week in stores and the remainder supporting administrative, reporting, and training coordination activities, this position plays a key role in creating a consistent onboarding experience and fostering a strong connection between new team members and the organization.

• Conduct engaging new hire orientation sessions covering company history, values, policies, benefits, expectations, and onboarding requirements.
• Communicate orientation and training schedules to new hires, ensuring they have all necessary information prior to their start date.
• Process new hires in UKG Pro in accordance with onboarding guidelines and verify employment eligibility through E-Verify.
• Assist new hires with onboarding documentation, including payroll, tax, benefits, and other required forms.
• Manage uniform inventory and distribute appropriate uniform items to new hires.
• Ensure completion of all required training materials, videos, and onboarding activities.

• Candidates must possess a high energy level and a positive, friendly, and welcoming demeanor
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, report creation, and data analysis to support onboarding, training, and workforce reporting.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently lead onboarding sessions, engage audiences of varying experience levels, and create a welcoming, high-energy learning environment.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be highly adaptive to change in a fast-paced environment
• Must be reliable and punctual in reporting to work as scheduled

• A valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel daily for in-person orientations, possibly at several locations
• Availability to work mornings, days, and some evenings, including but not limited to weekends
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• Retail or convenience store experience
• Experience conducting new employee orientations

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
