This position is responsible for assessing, estimating, supporting and managing the effective and efficient delivery of the functional aspects of APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) and WEB solutions, enhancements and service delivery (break/fix) across all HMGMA supported instances. The role responds to production problems and implements immediate resolution efforts related to business applications/systems for HMGMA Sales & Production planning operations.

• Design & implementation of WEB system packages.
• Implement sales & operation planning, production scheduling & sequencing system.
• Consult & support sales & production business teams to solve problems & improve optimized results.
• Develop & maintain SAP (SD, PP) I/F & Web UIs.
• Provide user training.
• Provide technical support to end users via troubleshooting guidelines and post‑delivery modifications.
• Lead business case development, planning, monitoring, eliciting and managing requirements, and communicating requirement analysis.
• Review code for various applications.
• Run functionality testing and debug code.
• Ensure software documentation is up to date.
• On‑call support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of various factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal and external working relationships.

Ability to present and convey information to various audience types – all levels up and down.

Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3+ years’ experience in the IT field.
• 3 or more years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions, preferably in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.

• Experience developing algorithms of scheduling & sequencing optimization.
• Proficiency in writing web programming (Java, JavaScript, .NET, etc.) and SQL code.
• Experience with open‑source RDBMS (e.g., Maria
  
  DB), web servers and application servers.
• Java/Web Frameworks (React, MyBatis, and Spring Boot).
• Databases:

  DB or MySQL (Oracle is a plus).

• Web Developer Certificate preferred.

Up to 25% travel, potentially including international travel.

$59,680 to $85,338 per year (depending on experience).
