IT Support Specialist

Position Overview

Support will primarily be provided through in-person communication, though it may also require using remote methods like phone assistance. The position demands an understanding of various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Achieving goals will depend on the guidance of management and colleagues.

• Address tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt responses, clear communication, and consistent follow-up.
• Maintain a detailed incident log that documents the steps taken to resolve issues and fulfill requests.
• Collaborate with the team on various projects, including large-scale software or hardware deployments and migrations.
• Consistently report on different aspects of the job to both the supervisor and manager.
• Travel to various locations may be required.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• A+ Certification, or equivalent certification relevant to PC support.
• Possesses 2+ years of relevant work experience in the field or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android, and standard software applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Intune) and mobile device management is a plus.
• Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
